Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 September 2026

This page explains what information is collected when you visit SheetLever (sheetlever.blogspot.com), who collects it, and what choices you have.

Who runs this site

SheetLever is a personal blog published by Adam Reid. Contact: adamsreidsl@gmail.com

Information collected directly

This site has no registration, no newsletter, no comment sign-up and no shopping cart. If you email me, I hold your email address and message for as long as needed to reply, and I don't add it to any mailing list or share it with anyone.

Information collected automatically

SheetLever is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. Google collects standard technical information from visitors, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited. This happens at the platform level and is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. On this site they come from three sources:

  • Blogger and Google — used to run the site, remember display preferences, and measure traffic
  • Google AdSense — used to serve and measure advertising, once advertising is active on this site
  • Third-party advertising vendors — Google's advertising partners may set their own cookies when serving ads

Advertising

SheetLever displays, or intends to display, advertising served by Google AdSense.

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
  • Third-party vendors serving ads here are not controlled by SheetLever, and their own privacy policies govern what they collect.

Controlling cookies yourself

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not prevent you from reading anything on this site — no content here is behind a login.

Visitors in the European Economic Area and the UK

Where GDPR applies, the legal basis for processing is legitimate interest for basic site operation and analytics, and consent for personalised advertising. Google's consent tools handle that consent request where it is required.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held about you, and to object to processing. For data held by Google as the platform and advertising provider, requests go through Google directly. For anything I hold — which in practice means email correspondence — write to adamsreidsl@gmail.com.

Visitors in California

SheetLever does not sell personal information. California residents may request disclosure of what personal information is collected, and request its deletion, by emailing adamsreidsl@gmail.com.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information here, email me and it will be deleted.

External links

Articles here link to outside sites, including Microsoft and Google documentation. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be noted on this page.
