About
SheetLever publishes practical Excel and Google Sheets tutorials — the kind you reach for when a formula isn't working and you need the answer in the next five minutes.
What you'll find here
- Formula guides — lookups, conditional logic, text functions, and the errors that break them
- Error fixes — #N/A, #REF!, #SPILL! and the rest, with the actual causes rather than generic advice
- Free templates — budget trackers, project sheets, invoices and inventory lists, ready to download and use
- Comparisons — VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, Excel or Google Sheets, and which one fits your situation
How the guides are written
Every tutorial answers the question in the first paragraph, then explains why. No long preamble, no padding to hit a word count.
Every formula published here is tested in Excel before it goes up, and the screenshots are taken from those same test sheets — not borrowed from elsewhere. Where a function only works in certain versions of Excel, that's stated plainly, because a formula that fails silently in someone else's copy of Excel is worse than no formula at all.
Who writes it
SheetLever is written by Adam Reid. I'm not a Microsoft employee, a certified trainer, or affiliated with Google. I'm someone who spends a lot of time in spreadsheets and writes down what actually works.
If a guide here is wrong or incomplete, I'd rather know. Corrections are welcome and get made.
